Academic Level A, base salary $113,400 p.a. + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join its dynamic team. This appointment is funded by The Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning.

The position will support and advance a strategic initiative in housing research in The Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning. This will involve working with senior housing researchers to undertake a range of research tasks, researcher skills and capacities mapping, project management and development, and primary research writing.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

work closely with several senior housing researchers

complete researcher skills and capacities mapping

project management and development

undertake research

identify and engage with key stakeholders

contribute to and lead written outputs of the project

coordinate day to day administration of the project, including liaising with internal and external project partners.

About you

a PhD degree in cognate area of housing studies, urban studies or similar area

knowledge of housing policy and research

good organization and project management skills

experience in writing for academic and policy audiences.
