Identifies, develops, and supports complex product/service solutions requiring a blend of sales and technical expertise. Serves as a key interface between CW Sales, Engineering and customer technical communities, building strong relationships and supporting growth of the the business in line with strategic plans. Liaises directly with customers and potential customers in a technical capacity in order to develop new sales. Has the ability to work on multiple parallel projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Partners with leadership to measure the business’ current market share and develop strategic plans to maximize market penetration. Identifies new market, product, and sales opportunities, working to expand market share with new and existing accounts. Provides forecasting for new and potential accounts as required. (35%)
Cultivates strong relationships with both internal and external customers in support of achieving business goals. Works closely with customers to establish technical needs and specifications, steering application requirements towards CW technology wherever possible. Serves as first line interface with customers for technical discussions, including technology workshops to educate customers and optimize application of CW products. (35%)
Monitors and evaluates market and industry trends through professional networking and participation in conferences/seminars/research organizations relevant to the business. Provides market and voice of customer insight to support development of technology roadmaps and innovation projects, ensuring CW and customer technology roadmaps remain aligned. Develops and provides internal training and seminars on technology topics, ensuring the effective use of any sales accountability programs/platforms utilized by the Division. (30%)
Representative Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of the products or services being sold, including technical specifications and applications
Proven experience in sales, ideally in a technical or engineering environment with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
