POSITION: FULL-TIME, 10 HRS/DAY, (4 DAYS/WEEK); 184 DAYS PER YEAR Reports To: Director of Finance and Human Resources Qualifications Education & Certification Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred K-12 Educator certification desired Experience & Skills Human Resources experience preferred Experience with CSI/SmartFusion and PowerSchool/TalentEd preferred General clerical skills (typing, filing, computer literacy, office machines) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional Attributes Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to take direction and complete tasks independently Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight Supervise the Human Resources Department and its operations Ensure all employees hold proper certification or alternative qualifications for their roles Maintain an efficient, professional, and confidential office environment Employee Support & Relations Process hiring of new employees Assist employees leaving the system, including retirees Create and administer staff exit surveys Serve as Teacher Retirement System (TRS) liaison for the district and employees Support the employee evaluation process for all staff Benefits & Compliance Support the Human Resources Manager in overseeing employee benefits Manage state and federal Human Resources reporting Training & Communication Coordinate professional learning for all Foothills employees that furthers the strategic plan Develop and facilitate a leadership development program for current and aspiring leaders Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and external partners Additional Duties Perform other responsibilities as assigned
