Controls Engineer

Selectek is partnering with a company located near Columbus, Ohio to fill a Controls Engineer role on a direct hire basis. This client develops control systems for a variety of applications and is open to new graduates in this role.

Employment Type: Direct hire

Expected Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and background

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Job Details:

- Design, develop and implement controls systems.

- Select components, develop control logic software and user interface applications.

- Develop schematics detailing control system configuration.

- Assist with initial start-up and debug integrated systems

- Develop collaborative partnerships with clients and colleagues to ensure specifications are met.

Job Requirements:

- 0-3 years of experience working in automation and controls design

- Knowledge of PLC programming utilizing ladder logic

- Experience with AutoCAD - will be used to design panels

- Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field
