Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Industrial Painter to join our team in Corsica, SD 57328. This role will primarily focus on painting farm equipment and assisting with general labor tasks, including some welding. The position pays $20/hour with steady hours from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, and overtime opportunities may be available. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in industrial painting, equipment prep, and an eye for detail to ensure a high-quality finish on all projects. Responsibilities

Prepare farm equipment and parts for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces).

Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers.

Mix and match paints to achieve the correct color and consistency.

Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

Maintain painting equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.

Follow safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, and equipment.

Assist with general labor duties as needed, including moving equipment, shop maintenance, and welding tasks.Qualifications

Previous experience with industrial painting or auto body painting preferred.

Ability to properly prep and finish surfaces for painting.

Familiarity with spray-painting equipment and techniques.

Welding experience a plus.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Willingness to perform general labor tasks as needed.
