Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead, mentor, and manage the purchase team to ensure efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery of materials.
· Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and organizational goals.
· Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimal quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
· Maintain and expand the supplier network to support multiple project needs.
· Review, approve, and process purchase requisitions and orders in compliance with company policies.
· Collaborate with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
· Monitor purchase budgets, track cost control measures, and ensure adherence to financial targets.
· Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
· Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, vendor agreements, and reports.
Skills & Competencies:
· Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization skills.
· In-depth knowledge of mechanical materials, equipment, and technical specifications.
· Familiarity with procurement processes, ERP systems, and supply chain management.
· Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
