Childcare Worker (38 hours per week -FULL TIME)

Location: Granville NSW 2142

Grow With Me Childcare Pty Ltd requires a qualified Child Care worker at our business in Granville NSW 2142

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervision and care for children at Childcare Centre.

Duties and responsibilities:

•Supervise and monitor children’s safety at all times.

•assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities

•managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development

•Create and maintain positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning and development.

•entertaining children by reading and playing games

•Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

•Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them with their social, academic and emotional development.

•Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and well-being.

•Follow all childcare regulations and safety protocols

Skills and knowledge required

•Diploma in Early Childhood – Australian Equivalent Qualification accepted by ACECQA

•Effective communication skills

•Must have able to provide clear medicals and character clearances required for the position

•3-4 years work experience in similar roles with good employment references
