Alternator & Generator Repair Technician

Job Summary About the Role We are looking for a skilled Alternator & Generator Repair Technician with experience in electrical and mechanical servicing of generator systems.

The role involves repairing alternators, ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches), and other electrical components, as well as supporting installation and commissioning of new generator units.

Minimum Qualification : Diploma Experience Level : Senior level Experience Length : 2 years Working Hours : Full Time Job Description/Requirements Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair alternators, including rewinding, reassembly, and calibration.

Service and repair ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) and other generator electrical components.

Carry out fault-finding and repairs on any electrical parts of generators.

Support in the installation and commissioning of new generator systems.

Conduct preventive maintenance and performance testing.

Prepare and maintain accurate service reports and technical documentation.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards during all operations.

Provide technical support both in the workshop and at client sites.

Requirements Minimum 2 years of proven experience in alternator, ATS, and generator electrical repair.

Diploma or certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields.

Strong hands-on knowledge of generator systems, installations, and electrical troubleshooting.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to handle both workshop and field assignments.
