Site Superintendent

Job Description

Our client is looking for skilled Site Superintendents and Assistant Site Superintendents to oversee the daily operations of their residential construction projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and coordinate all construction activities from start to completion, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery of homes.

• Implement and manage on-site safety programs, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

• Oversee subcontractor scheduling, inspections, and quality control.

• Manage material deliveries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.

• Ensure correct take-offs and proper installation procedures.

• Participate in recruiting and hiring new staff.

• Set departmental goals and provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

• Perform additional tasks to support project success as needed.

• Travel between various construction sites within the city.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in residential construction management, with a focus on wood frame construction.

• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

• Pursuing or completed a Carpentry apprenticeship (Journeyman ticket in plumbing, electrical, or heating is an asset).
