The Sustainability department is looking for a dedicated and motivated Working Student (m/f/d) to support the topic of CO2 accounting and GHG emission strategy, starting immediately, for approx. 10–20 hours per week.

You will work together with the Senior Carbon Manager and report to the Vice-president Sustainability. Your workplace will be in Heidelberg. Become part of our team and contribute to accelerate our path to Net Zero!

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

Assist in collecting and analysing emissions-related data across different scopes.

Support in calculating greenhouse gas emissions according to recognized international and sector standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, CO2 Protocol for the Cement and concrete Association).

Support to maintain and improve internal CO tracking tools and databases.

Conduct background research on sustainability best practices and new regulatory requirements.

Support activities regarding emission trading systems and voluntary carbon markets.

Contribute to sustainability reports and presentations.

Assist the preparation of Carbon Strategy meetings for management teams

YOUR PROFILE

You are an enrolled student in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field? Perfect!

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Basic knowledge of carbon accounting methods and sustainability topics is an advantage.

Proficiency in MS Excel (experience with data analysis tools is a plus), or any other data analytic tools

Good communication skills.

Independent, structured, and detail-oriented way of working.
