About the role:
The HR Manager Talent & Development is responsible for driving initiatives that strengthen the employee lifecycle from attracting and integrating top talent to developing capabilities and fostering career progression. Acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, the role ensures performance, learning, and succession frameworks are effectively embedded to build a resilient, future-ready workforce. By championing best HR practices, the HR Manager will enhance employee engagement, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness to support sustainable business success.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Lead end-to-end recruitment, ensuring access to high-calibre candidates aligned with business needs.
Implement workforce planning tools to forecast and address future talent requirements.
Onboarding & Employee Integration
Design and oversee structured onboarding programmes to accelerate new-hire productivity.
Champion a consistent employee experience that reflects company values and culture.
Performance Management & Employee Engagement
Develop and manage KPIs, appraisal systems, and feedback frameworks to drive high performance.
Introduce engagement initiatives that improve retention and employee satisfaction.
Learning & Development
Create and deliver training programmes spanning technical, leadership, and soft skills.
Evaluate learning outcomes to ensure return on investment and alignment with business goals.
Talent Management & Succession Planning
Establish clear career pathways and succession plans to build leadership bench strength.
Partner with management to identify and develop high-potential employees.
HR Governance & Industry Best Practice
Maintain up-to-date HR policies and manuals in line with UAE and insurance industry regulations.
Provide regular insights to leadership on emerging HR trends and best practices.
Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or a related field (Masters or professional certification such as CIPD/SHRM preferred).
Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or senior HR role.
Proven expertise in recruitment, performance management, and learning & development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in the insurance or financial services sector will be an added advantage.
