Qualifications:
1. Bachelors' Degree required
2. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and administrators
3. Ability to lead and manage a team
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills
5. Demonstrates effective problem solving, organizational skills, planning, record keeping and computer literacy skills
6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Job Goal:
To assist and support the school administration in creating and maintaining a positive school climate.
Job Description:
Responsible for training and developing protocol for lunch/recess aides and student support staff
Develops structured activities for students during recess
Monitors Lunch Aides in the cafeteria and at recess
Assists students with academic work and/or problem resolution
Assists in shaping students' behavioral and decision-making skills through positive reinforcement strategies
Works collaboratively with building administrator in developing schedules, routines, and coverage for the cafeteria, recess and student support center
Consults with faculty, administrators and other special services personnel on student behavioral issues
Maintains records related to the Student Support Center and inputs student discipline information into a computer-based program (SWIS)
Additional responsibilities as determined by the building administrator
Terms of Employment:
180 days per year. This is a non-union position.
Salary:
$30,000 per year
