Security Officer-Full-Time
The security team at Baptist Health Corbin is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and assets. This unit operates 24/7 and is integral to ensuring the hospital functions smoothy while addressing emergencies, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to incidents swiftly and effectively.
Job Description:
Security Officer makes scheduled rounds throughout the facility and parking areas.
Officer will assist all employees, visitors, and patients in security related matters.
Officer provides security for personnel and property on the hospital campus.
All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
High school graduate or equivalent
Some security education or experience preferred
Must have valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass a Taser course within 6 months and maintain certification
Certifications based on unit worked
CPI Certification required-(Hospital will provide training)
