Bus Monitor

Manage student behavior

Assumes responsibility for the safety of children on the school bus

Make sure students remain seated and adhere to bus rules and emergency procedures

Prepare and communicate incident reports with parents and school administrators

Maintain student and parent confidential information

Assists with loading and unloading students, as well as seating

Help driver maintain a clean bus

Assists the driver in emergency situations

Any other duties assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

21 years of age or older

Able to work early morning and afternoon hours

Must pass a background check

Meet physical, hearing, and vision requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
