Position Type: Maintenance/Custodial/Grounds Worker Date Posted: 1/29/2025 Location: District Additional Information: Show/Hide Date: January 29, 2025 From: Office of Superintendent Subject: Vacancy Position: Grounds Crew-District Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey Responsibilities: Ability to operate: Ability to: * Gas powered chain saws * Edgers, blowers * Hedge trimmers * York rake, seekers and aerators * Auger sweeper and power Thatcher * Front-end loader and backhoe * Jack hammer and hammer drills * Standard commercial lawnmowers, commercial walk behind mowers, commercial riding mowers * Install and operate snowplows and snow blowers for snow removal * Install irrigation and drainage systems * Remove and install concrete and/or fencing Qualifications: * High School graduate or GED recipient * Valid NJ drivers license * Must pass the NJ Criminal History Review Unit Fingerprinting requirement Terms: * 12 month position * Salary, terms and conditions of employment as per AFCSME contract Applications are accepted on-line only.
