Qualifications Required knowledge and skills Knowledge of nursing course content and computer literacy required.
Required personal attributes include integrity, emotional maturity, dependability, and effective communication skills.
Knowledge of adult education methods and theories preferred.
Required experience A minimum of two years of demonstrated nursing ability in the hospital setting is required.
Preferred experience: experience as faculty within a nursing program or equivalent experience in a hospital setting.
Required educational background BSN required and MSN preferred.
A current license to practice nursing in the state of Kansas is also required.
