Description:

Mount Carmel Health System Graduate Medical Education Department is seeking two full-time, dynamic and academically focused OB/GYN hospitalists to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio, providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care across three hospital sites, with a strong emphasis on resident education and high-risk pregnancy management.

Job Description:

Provide in-house coverage as a full-time OB/GYN hospitalist across three hospital campuses (one site per day)

Staff residents on Labor & Delivery (L&D), serving as in-house OB hospitalist

Perform gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomy, and manage clinic patients

Manage medically complex, high-risk pregnancies and perform advanced obstetrical surgeries

Supervise and teach residents during clinical care and didactic sessions

Collaborate with Graduate Medical Education (GME) teams to enhance resident education and curricula

Provide care in L&D units and emergency situations, ensuring quality, timely obstetrical care

Work 12-hour shifts covering days and nights, including weekend rotations and holiday coverage in a scheduled rotation system

Participate in system-wide OB hospitalist roles and contribute to continuous improvement of care delivery

Engage with the community and support Mount Carmel s mission to provide excellent care, including to underserved populations

Starting salary of *** with a guaranteed 5% annual increase every year

Sign-on bonus between *** to *** (negotiable)

Comprehensive benefits starting from day 1 of employment

Guaranteed paid time off (PTO) of 27 days (216 hours) annually, with ability to roll over up to 40 hours per year

Holiday pay and a planned holiday rotation schedule for three years
