Hillard, OH Columbus Oh 3100 $0.00/ Plant Manager * Job Description * Branch Details Job Title: Plant Manager Department: Operations Management Location: Hilliard, OH Reports To: Vice President of Operations About the Role We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations at our Ohio facility.

This role is critical in driving safety, quality, cost, and production efficiency through a culture of continuous improvement.

The Plant Manager will provide hands-on leadership to all Production and Facilities teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives, operational excellence, and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership * Lead daily production operations, including staffing, scheduling, throughput, and maintenance programs.

* Implement cost-effective manufacturing strategies, leveraging data to drive measurable improvements (OTD, OEE). * Collaborate with department heads to ensure operational goals support company objectives.

Safety & Compliance * Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

* Champion safety training programs and lead efforts to maintain ISO14001 certification & EPA/OSHA compliance.

Quality Control * Ensure products meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.

* Partner with Quality and Purchasing teams to resolve material issues and implement preventative measures.

Facilities & Equipment Management * Oversee maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.

* Collaborate with Engineering to execute capital projects and optimize facility operations.

Process Improvement * Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste and increase efficiency.

* Utilize analytics tools to provide actionable insights and guide continuous improvement efforts.

Budget & Strategy * Develop and manage production and facilities budgets, aligning resources with company growth strategies.

* Lead capacity planning, capital investment initiatives, and workforce development.

Team Leadership * Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team.

* Implement training programs on safety, lean manufacturing, and technical skills.

* Manage hiring, training, succession planning, and performance reviews.

Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.

* 7+ years of operational leadership experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a Plant/Production Manager role.

* Proven expertise in electronics/electrical equipment assembly, including PCBA production, SMT lines, soldering, testing, and inspection.

* Experience leading capital projects for facility upgrades and equipment installations.

* Strong track record managing production teams in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.

* Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
