JOB POSTING - 9/2/2025 Valier School District Job Posting: Full-Time Certified Reading Interventionist Position: Reading Interventionist (Full-Time, Certified) Location: Valier School District, Valier, Montana Start Date: November 1st, 2025 About Us: Valier School District is a small, rural school system dedicated to providing all students with a supportive, challenging, and personalized education.

We are seeking a passionate and student-centered Reading Interventionist to join our team and help support literacy development for students across grade levels.

Responsibilities: * Provide targeted reading interventions to students in small groups and one-on-one settings.

* Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to design and implement effective literacy strategies.

* Use assessment data to identify student needs, monitor progress, and adjust instruction accordingly.

* Deliver evidence-based instructional practices to support struggling readers.

* Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff.

* Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in literacy instruction and intervention.

Qualifications: * Valid Montana teaching certificate (K–12 or appropriate endorsement). * Reading/Literacy endorsement preferred, or willingness to obtain.

* Demonstrated knowledge of effective reading intervention strategies and programs.

* Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

* Experience working with a variety of student learning needs.

Compensation & Benefits: * Competitive salary based on the Valier School District salary schedule.

Base salary of $41,600 + Annual STARS Act Stipend * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plan.
