Summary Job Description: RN-Med Surge-3-North I.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required * Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing * Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or Kentucky work permit.

* Certifications based on the unit worked: * BLS * ACLS * BCA * LTA * 12 Lead EKG * Patient Deterioration * NIH Stroke II.Skills and Abilities Required Ability to identify the scope of practice issues, prioritization, critical thinking, effective decision making, communication, interpersonal relationship skills, delegation and team leading skills consistent with the level of professional growth.

Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures.
