Example of Duties Patrols park in motor vehicle, bicycle, or on foot to ensure safety of visitors and to assist in enforcement of Park District rules and regulations.

Provides information and assistance to park visitors; guides visitors to picnic areas, shelters, park facilities, etc.; provides assistance with lost children, property, disabled vehicles, etc.; answers questions regarding park facilities and operations, wildlife and vegetation; and assists with reservations.

Performs light maintenance duties including the cleaning of restrooms, nature centers, shelters/lodges; removes debris and litter and changes trash bags.
