Two years of direct patient care as a registered nurse (with demonstration of acute medical-surgical experience). A current, unrestricted registered nurse license in North Carolina.
Applicants must be able to meet the physical and emotional demands in all aspects of nursing care, maintain current knowledge and competence in nursing practice, and have the ability to maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with students, staff, faculty and representatives from various health care professions and settings.
Well-developed clinical, technical, computer, organization, time management, and communication skills are necessary.
