Job Title: Business Management Specialist

Corporate Title: Vice President

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Description

Business Management is responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the bank's mission and goals. Work includes:

Delivering and improving the functions performed by COO organisation

Researching and analysing industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest

Identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of discreet sub-units, be they products, desks, infrastructure or control areas of activity or a geographical region

Developing complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation and plans for projects

Utilising comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business

Synthesizing and collating business insights for specific divisional stakeholders and supporting the improvement of policies, processes and procedures to deliver consistent and reliable products / services

Engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best value for functions / units

Building relationships with external points of contact (e.g. regulators, auditors, etc.) and industry bodies

Your key responsibilities

Work closely with India COO, CBIB Ops and Controls, responsible for driving the strategy for business operations, running horizontal themes for people & culture, risk & governance, transformation, etc.

Creating and maintaining governance structure around horizontal pillars, enabling review on periodic basis providing visibility & transparency.

Analytics on performance indicators which are part of Balance Score Card and present it to management for timely action.

Create management deck and work with local and global management to provide detailed views and drive right decisions.

Work on ground with various teams across businesses on DCO, COO, Business Management, Transformation, HR, BMAG to achieve divisional objectives.

Part of YE Compensation governance team for CBIB Ops and Controls which manages processes such as fixed pay, variable compensation, Performance management indicator, complex modelling, promotions, etc.

Create senior management deck on YE Compensation to enable reviews and decisions.

Your skills and experience

CA/MBA/Bachelors with 10 + years of experience

Excellent Presentations, management deck, running senior stakeholder meetings

Hands-on MS office skills including excel and word

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience on working in matrix organization

Strong knowledge of Financial Services industry

Ability to work independently and with others

Strong interpersonal & problem solving skills

Passion and proven ability to work with management information, financials, multiple applications and systems
