We are seeking a motivated Parts and Service Advisor to oversee our parts and service department and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working directly with customers and team members.
Position Overview
TheParts and Service Advisor will be responsible for managing inventory, service writing, ordering parts, and delivering excellent customer service to both internal departments and retail customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain parts inventory, ensuring stock levels meet customer and service department needs
Order, receive, and distribute parts in a timely and accurate manner
Assist walk-in customers and service technicians with parts requests
Provide professional, face-to-face customer service to clients and vendors
Ensure proper organization of parts department and maintain accurate records
Handle returns, warranty claims, and exchanges
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers
Enforce dealership policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of professional, face-to-face customer service experience (required)
Previous experience in an automotive or retail parts environment preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in basic computer systems and parts management software (training provided)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
