Description:

Radiology/Cardiology MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment to capture detailed images of patients’ organs and tissues, with a focus on cardiac and vascular systems. They prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure safety during imaging. The technologist collaborates with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic images. They also maintain imaging equipment and follow strict safety and quality protocols.

We are seeking a skilled MRI Tech with a strong background in neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging to join our team. This role focuses on weekend night shifts and supports both inpatient and outpatient imaging with a focus on oncology cases.

Department Information:

Average Daily Census: 35–40 cases/day

Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Electronic Documentation: EPIC

Required Experience & Certifications:

Minimum 2 years of MRI experience

ARRT certification

BLS certification

Valid Ohio State License

Required Skills:

Experience in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care settings

Proficiency in imaging: Abdominal, Female & Male Pelvis, Chest, Brain, Face/Neck, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, Shoulder

Familiarity with PACS and Siemens equipment

Special Imaging Procedures:

Fusion (non-brain)

Gradient Echo Imaging

Image Post-Processing (Client mapping, subtraction)

Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP)

Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP)

Perfusion

Spectroscopy

Spin Echo Images

Surface Coils

T1 & T2 Weighted Imaging

Spine Imaging: Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic
