The Role

Sofina Foods EU is looking for motivated and reliable General Operatives to join our production team at the Callan site. Working on the afternoon shift, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality pork and bacon products to the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and quality.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team in a well-established facility. Full onsite training will be provided, helping you build the skills needed to succeed and grow within a fast-paced food production environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm

Your Key Responsibilities

As a General Operative, you will:

Work across various production lines, adapting to different speeds and levels of complexity

Operate machinery safely and in line with all food safety and health & safety protocols

Follow the daily production plan, supporting with line set-up and material checks

Perform all required hygiene, safety, and pre-start checks to maintain a safe and compliant working environment

Ensure consistent product quality and accurate completion of production tasks

Collaborate with your team to meet production goals and uphold site standards

Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation in your work area

Take a proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

The Ideal Candidate

Be comfortable working in a chilled environment for extended periods

Be able to stand for over 4 hours and move around the production floor unaided

Have a strong work ethic and a commitment to learning – full training will be provided
