EMT-Ambulance Service
Preforms ambulance transportation services & patient care within the scope of practice for EMT-B
Thoroughly completes all required documentation for each patient encounter
Assists Paramedic with patient care as required
Provides care appropriate to the emergency population and maintains environment of care
Assists nursing staff in triage
Participates in continuing education classes
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
High School Diploma or GED EMT-B or EMT certification through the Kentucky Board of EMS BLS (AHA required CPR certification)
