Our school week is a 4 Day work week.
Academic Qualifications: The qualified applicant needs to have, or be in the process of completing his or her Montana teaching certification with a K-12 Special Education Endorsement.
Supplemental Information: Fromberg is a small, friendly, community located 35 miles south of Billings, one of the largest cities in Montana.
Fromberg is within 100 miles of three Mountain Ranges; Beartooth Mountains, Pryor Mountains and Big Horn Mountains, of which offer a wealth of outdoor activities that include hunting, skiing, camping, fishing, and snowmobiling.
The District has about 69 students K-12, 15 teachers and 1 administrator.
This is a rural school with small class sizes, a collaborative, empowered staff and hard working, polite students.
Our Special Education program has a total caseload currently of about 11 students in grades K-12 Grade.
Our special education teacher currently has a paraprofessionals who assist with students within the Special Education Program.
Qualified applicants need to have a Montana K-12 teaching license within Special Education or must be licensed.
Applicants may also work with the Special Education Endorsement project, to secure certification.
Fromberg Schools is a member of the Yellowstone West Carbon County Special Services - Special Education Cooperative.
Experienced teachers are allowed to bring up to 10 years of teaching experience into the district.
The district provides up to $700 per month for health insurance.
