Respiratory Therapist LA

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering clinical patient services, providing education, and supporting respiratory care needs within the location. This is a direct hire, full-time position (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm).

Respiratory Therapist Job Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments based on physician orders and company policies.

Provide in-home visits, patient education, and follow-up care.

Set up and monitor highly technical respiratory equipment.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and service documentation.

Serve as an on-call resource for phone consultations during non-business hours (as needed).

Provide ongoing phone support and education to patients.

Assist in the orientation and training of new team members.

Drive a company vehicle when required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Some local travel may be required to patient homes and for team meetings.

Respiratory Therapist Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

State-issued Respiratory Therapist license.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Respiratory Therapist Preferred Requirements:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials.

Degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.

One or more years of related work experience.

Home respiratory care experience or other relevant medical training (RN, LPN, etc.) depending on state licensure laws.

Respiratory Therapist Additional Details:

Competitive pay starting at $28/hr.
