" Position: Ultrasonographer/Vascular Sonographer

". Location: Dublin Methodist Hospital

" Schedule: 2 week rotating schedule

Week 1: Wed/Thu/Fri 1600-0030, Sat 1000-2230 (36hrs)

Week 2: Sun 1000-2230, Wed/Thu/Fri 1600-0030 (36hrs)

" Call: rotates with the other sonographers (0030-0700)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (4026):

"2 years of experience with travel

"1-2 yrs ultrasound training from an accredited training program

"ARDMS - ABD OR GYN Certified

"RVT (required for vascular need)

"RDCS or RCS certified preferred

"BLS Certification

"Needs strong Client experience

SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position independently performs requested ultrasound examinations, searching for any possible pathology as indicated by the patient's symptoms/medical history and/or results from previous testing. He/She reviews and discusses the ultrasound findings with the radiologist and a diagnosis is made.
