Basic Function:
Responsible for setting and managing the inventory levels and associated buy plans to fulfill the demand plan. Works closely and communicates with cross functional partners in Sourcing, Distribution, Finance, Account Support, and Demand Planning to:
Establish a supply plan and define supply constraints at the supplier and operational levels
Identify, quantify and help resolve supply constraints that impede achievement of the demand plan
Quantify and qualify any supply shortfall that may put fill rate targets at risk
Create and maintain accurate purchase orders with factories
Create and maintain choice level sku details
Responsible for assuring continuity of supply within the supply chain.
Builds and Communicates the Supply Plan: Creates and communicates a supply plan and associated implications to the business to support the agreed to constrained demand plan for owned SKUs and suppliers. Accurately reflects available supply states (on order, in transit, on-hand, committed, etc.) and opportunities to increase or decrease the supply for product as well as distribution capacity.
Tracks and Communicates PO details: Maintains and reports on metrics that provide transparency to inventory productivity (product on time delivery, back order, aged inventory) and related decisions for owned SKUs.
Collaboration & Communication: Works closely and communicates effectively with senior and middle management within Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing and Distribution. Participates in multiple project team and task forces. Recognizes sensitivity of other reporting and organizational business objectives.
Service Levels: Leads root cause investigation of service issues to determine where to focus the microscope—forecast, supply plan, suppliers/production, order management or DC.

Sku setup and maintenance
Ordering Support and PO Management:
Determines buy quantities
Participates in buy meeting to present/align on buys with cross functional team
Creating PO
Free Astray process
Tracks committed buys to plan and tracks and updates POs to flow plan
Inventory Management and Service Levels:
Identifies and recommends changes in inventory policy to drive productivity.
Supports Customer service and sales to determine priorities during stock shortage situations.
Escalates and/or reports supply disruptions that could impact order fulfillment - including but not limited to backorders, backlog, and ATP communication.
Balancing inventory between labels as needed.
Create special handling forms for added work at DC.
Other duties as required by supervisor.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant area of study required
Minimum 0-4 years of relevant supply planning experience
Excellent planning, organization, coordination, problem-solving and follow-through skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with remote resources
Proven use of analytical tools, including an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Written and oral communication skills
Able to multi-task in an energy-charged, fast-paced environment
Time management and problem-solving skills
Industry experience in apparel and footwear is a plus
