Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support K-12 students during the upcoming school year. This contract position is ideal for an experienced professional dedicated to helping children improve their communication skills within an educational setting.
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Position Type: Contract, Non-Specified Year (NSY)
Student Population: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting speech and language assessments to identify students communicative needs
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, fluency, voice, and other related disorders
Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Documenting student performance and maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
Providing direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
Desired qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Experience working with diverse school-aged populations
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual student needs
