Work Monday through Friday with flexible hours:
Full Day: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Half Day: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Carry out lesson plans provided by the absent teacher to keep learning on track
Manage classrooms effectively by encouraging participation and minimizing distractions
Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners
Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds
Assign classwork and activities that align with the day’s lesson plan
For long-term placements: collaborate with school leaders and department heads to create lesson plans consistent with curriculum goalsWhat We’re Looking For
Associate’s degree or 60+ college credit hours (required)
Bachelor’s degree or valid teaching certification (preferred, not required)
Previous substitute teaching or childcare experience (preferred, not required)
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to lead classrooms confidently and connect with students of all ages
General knowledge across multiple subjects
Flexibility, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
