What you'll do: * Support trade studies related to external lighting system architecture * Contact and assess possible suppliers capabilities (technical, risks, quality, cost, weight) * Create, validate and verify equipment, subsystem and system levels requirements (ARP4754) * Create and review engineering deliverables required from development to certification (e.g.: drawings, ICDs, test plan, test procedures/reports, technical requirement documents, manuals) * Work closely with other systems/teams (e.g.: installation, maintainability, human factor, pilot) to define the interfaces * Lead the execution of tests to support the integration of the External Lighting System into External labs and Flight Test Facilities.

* Provide support to safety activities (ARP4761 tasks - FHA, PSSA, CMA, FMEA, SSA) * Support Low voltage electrical system power distribution development * Available to travel Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field * Experience with: 14 CFR Part 23 or 25 Certification programs * At least 10 years experience in Aircraft external lighting system development (ATA33) * Knowledge and experience on electrical power distribution system development (ATA 24) * Experience with the following tasks is an asset: * Development assurance process (V&V and ARP-4754) * Safety process (ARP4761) * Equipment qualification (DO160) * Good communication skills, teamplayer, willing to proactively step in and help Bonus Qualifications: * Experience with Requirements Management Tools such as DOORs or Polarion At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.

For this position we are targeting a base pay between $134,400.00 - $168,000.00.

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
