Substitute Teacher – Midland & Odessa, TX

Teachers Now is hiring motivated and dependable Substitute Teachers to support schools throughout Midland and Odessa. This is a flexible role that allows you to build classroom experience, help students stay on track, and make a meaningful impact every day when regular educators are away.What You’ll Do

Deliver instruction using lesson plans provided by the teacher

Create a positive, organized, and engaging learning environment

Encourage student participation and maintain classroom management

Supervise students during class, transitions, lunch, and recess

Assign and review classwork aligned with daily objectives

Record attendance and report concerns to school staff

Work collaboratively with educators and administrators to support student success

For long-term roles: plan and deliver lessons consistent with curriculum standardsSchedule

Monday through Friday availability required

Full Day: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Half Day: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 4:00 PMQualifications

High School Diploma or GED (required)

Bachelor’s degree or teaching certification (preferred but not required)

Prior classroom or childcare experience is a plus

Strong communication and leadership skills

$100–$130 per day (based on education and/or teaching certification)
