Job Description

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and guidance from the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, this position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks critical to the safe maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment. The tasks are essential to the safety, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of the plant's production lines, which operate continuously 24 hours a day, five days a week.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of industrial equipment.

Conduct preventive maintenance and repair tasks.

Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Perform PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.

Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Conduct maintenance repairs and welding when necessary.

Utilize tools such as multimeters and apply knowledge of low voltage systems.

Work with VFDs, HMI, servo systems, and relay logic.

Handle pumps, blowers, gears, sheaves, and combustion equipment.Essential Skills

Mechanical troubleshooting

Electrical troubleshooting

PLC troubleshooting

Understanding of 3-phase systems

Experience with AC/DC industrial equipmentAdditional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Logix 5000

Fabrication skills

Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)

Work Environment

Work in an industrial manufacturing facility that is dusty, dry, and hot in summers, yet maintains a relatively clean environment. The position supports a continuous 24/5 operational schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HILLIARD, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
