Job Title: Diesel Truck Mechanic
Location: On-site in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
Pay: $29–$40/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM (First Shift)
Important Note: This position is located on-site in Mount Pleasant, SC. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not already in the area.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair Class 8 tractors with 6-cylinder diesel engines and auto/manual transmissions
Perform electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
Conduct PM services and annual inspections
Manage air diagnostics, aftertreatment, and emissions systems
Use OEM software (Cummins, Detroit, Volvo) for diagnostics and repairs
Work on air brakes, steering, suspension, and air systems
Document work using shop software
Essential Skills
Proficiency with diesel engines and mechanical repairs
Experience with Class 8 tractors and 6-cylinder diesel engines
Strong electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills
Additional Qualifications
Knowledge of air diagnostics and emissions systems
Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software (Cummins, Detroit, Volvo)
Experience with air brakes, steering, and suspension systems
Work Environment
Hot truck shop setting; steel-toed boots required
Fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and precision
Monday to Friday schedule, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
