Summary The commissary worker is responsible for the preparation and production of Duchess proprietary food items, to be delivered by a third-party contractor to our Duchess stores.
A commitment to food safety, following recipes, and speed are paramount.
This is predominantly a Sunday through Thursday, first shift position but can vary depending on business needs.
Essential Job Functions: * Responsible for preparing various food prep products.
* Operating a variety of kitchen utensils and/or equipment for weighing, measuring, mixing, etc.
* Follow recipes and/or product directions for proper food preparation.
* Prep foods using the proper method of peeling, cutting, slicing, straining, stirring, or kneading.
* Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed, including wrapping, labeling, dating, and stock rotation along with checking the temperature of products.
* Receive food and beverage product supplies and stock areas as needed.
* Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart.
* Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.
* Assist with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed.
* Other duties as needed and required by Management.

* Must have the ability to lift and push objects weighing over 40 lbs.
