Substation Engineering Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Substation Protection & Control Engineering Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our Atlanta-based teams, including P&C, substation physical, CAD, and SCADA.

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid WFH)

Pay: $145-190k/yr base plus bonus

In this role, you’ll:

Lead a talented team—driving employee engagement, mentorship, and growth.

Serve as the client point of contact, managing strong, long-standing relationships.

Oversee project execution, budgets, proposals, and technical reviews.

Provide technical oversight while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety codes.

What we’re looking for:

10+ years of substation/P&C engineering experience.

Proven success leading projects, mentoring staff, and performing QC reviews.

Strong proposal/man-hour estimating skills.

Ability to travel up to 10%.
