Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM; one weekend day mandatory)
Referral Reward: $1.72/hr

Position Summary
The Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor role located at a customer site, responsible for the daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of the onsite storeroom and will serve as the sole Vallen associate onsite after training. The ideal candidate is reliable, dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and unpack incoming goods, tools, or equipment; check for damage or discrepancies.
Stock items accurately in designated bins, shelves, or racks according to classification.
Issue parts, materials, and tools to employees; track issued and returned items.
Maintain inventory records using computerized systems; enter data, retrieve info, and document discrepancies.
Perform cycle counts and report results to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Request inventory replenishment as needed.
Inspect and report tool/equipment damage or wear.
Deliver tools or equipment to work locations as requested.
Investigate and locate misplaced or missing inventory.
Operate a sit-down forklift as needed (experience preferred).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with tool and equipment repairs or servicing when required.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ months of relevant warehouse or storeroom experience.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
Technical Skills:
Basic computer proficiency (data entry, inventory systems).
Preferred familiarity with MS Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Steel-toe shoes required.
Other Requirements:
Forklift experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and safety-minded.
