Field of activity:
The Compliance Function works closely with the individual business units and group control functions to ensure compliance with national and international laws and regulations applicable to the various units of the Deutsche Börse Group and its business activities. The compliance function has a proactive role in the identification of possible compliance or reputational risks, including those that may arise in connection with new activities and products. Clearstream Compliance works in partnership with Group Compliance which is responsible in defining group-wide compliance policies, supports their uniform application within the group entities, and provides centralised services to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, international financial sanctions, anti-corruption; data protection, and the prevention of conflicts of interest and related securities law requirements.
As a Compliance Officer (Support) based in Prague, you will play a vital role in strengthening our compliance operations. You will coordinate internal and external audits, manage on-site inspections by regulatory authorities, and oversee outsourced compliance activities. Your responsibilities will include maintaining tools used to track and manage applicable laws and regulations, executing IT-Compliance controls, and conducting regulatory watch to ensure IT laws and regulations are properly integrated into our legal inventories. Additionally, you will contribute to data governance initiatives and support the ongoing development of the IT-Compliance framework in close collaboration with Group Compliance.
Activities / Tasks:
Oversee and monitor outsourced compliance activities
Conduct regulatory watch on IT-related laws and regulations
Integrate applicable IT regulations into legal inventory systems
Maintain tools used to track and manage laws and regulations
Plan and execute IT-Compliance control activities
Coordinate internal and external audits
Manage on-site inspections by regulators and other authorities
Contribute to data governance within the Compliance function
Support the maintenance and development of the IT-Compliance framework in collaboration with Group Compliance
Qualifications / Skills:
University degree in computer science or business informatics, economics, finance, law or comparable qualification with a focus on IT
Knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements relevant to Clearstream Banking S.A.
Experience working as an internal or external auditor with the focus on IT reviews and controls
Alternatively, several years of experience in IT audit within a Big Four firm, ideally with a focus on assessing IT processes and organizational structures in the financial services sector.In-depth knowledge of IT standards applicable for IT management (e.g., COBIT, DORA or similar reference models)
Accuracy and organizational skills
Ability to communicate and negotiate, including the ability to understand complex issues in a way that makes it comprehensible to third parties
High level of initiative, dedication and motivation
English spoken and written
