Your Opportunity:
Within the Demand and Supply planning function based in the HQ in Milan the role will have the responsibility of collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large sets of data, maintaining data flows and the data quality and provide the relevant and most reliable information to all related functions within the areas of Demand Planning and Inventory Planning.
Your Contribution:
Create and implement data models
Present visual data information
Synthesize data and information
Participate in multi-area AI projects in collaboration with other data scientists
Maintain and improve the Demand and Inventory Planning tools ensuring data quality and consistency
Secure reliable actionable databases for the Demand & Inventory Planners
Enrich the variety of data available to the team
Partner with other team members and managers in framing operational problems, conduct mathematical/statistical analysis of exiting operational processes, and validate data-driven solution alternatives.
Analyse and support Demand and Inventory planning processes and operations with the primary objective of increasing efficiency and effectiveness. Gather and process systematic data to support and define consistent and informative quantitative analysis.
Think of, develop, prepare and maintain relevant reports/dashboard/KPI’s/tools pertaining to Demand and Inventory planning processes
Develop prototype reporting and metrics that evaluate correctly Planning operations, S&OP flow and management system performance. Troubleshoot failures and handle questions and requests on existing reports.
Be the team's point of reference for all development activities of current tools and the introduction of new ones
Develop, support and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures
Your Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer data science (Big Data, Analytics and Machine Learning fundamentals) or related subjects
Statistical Knowledge
Data Wrangling
Programming Proficiency: knowledge of programming language like SQL, Python, R etc..
Knowledge of MS Access, Excel and database applications
Understanding business context
Experience with Business Intelligence reporting applications
Strong analytic skills, data mining and quantitative techniques;
Proven analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Excellent planning, organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Team building skills with positive attitude to collaboration
Flexible and approachable attitude
Strong organizational and presentation skills to effectively interact with all teams and business levels;
Excellent verbal and written in Italian and English;

Experience in Management/Operational consulting and Fashion/Retail companies as a plus
