Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Haverford, Pennsylvania. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will oversee a variety of projects within the university environment, focusing on facilities, IT, and construction initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the execution of campus-wide projects, including technology upgrades for safety systems, dorm renovations, and the campus master plan.
• Coordinate and manage the second phase of Workday implementation, focusing on the student module.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are tracked and completed within established timelines.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across diverse teams, including stakeholders and cross-functional departments.
• Set meeting agendas, document progress, and provide regular updates to team members and stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, ensuring financial compliance and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives and priorities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.• PMP Certification is required, demonstrating expertise in project management practices.
• Proven experience managing IT projects, particularly within educational or university settings.
• Strong background in overseeing cloud ERP implementations, such as Workday.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities.
• Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
• Experience in facilities, construction, or campus planning projects is preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout project lifecycles.
