Position Summary:

The Purchasing Specialist will support the procurement team with sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage purchase orders from creation to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and terms.

Track and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.

Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to support business operations.

Assist in analyzing purchasing data and preparing reports for management review.

Resolve order discrepancies, shipment delays, and supplier issues promptly.

Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and vendor information.

Ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry regulations.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain preferred.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP experience a plus.

Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
