Pay Package (Estimated Weekly)

Weekly Gross: $2,619.20

Stipend (Meals & Housing): $1,719.20

W2 (Taxable at $25/hr for 36 hrs): $900

Position Overview

A high-volume Labor & Delivery unit in Denver is seeking experienced Travel RNs for night shift coverage. This fast-paced environment handles a wide range of obstetric procedures including high-risk deliveries and surgical cases. Nurses will work with a collaborative team using advanced monitoring systems and EMR technology.

Unit Details

Beds: 12 L&D, 8 triage, 11 antepartum

Staffing (Night Shift): 1 Charge RN, 11 RNs, 1 Tech

Patient Ratios:

L&D: 1:2

Triage: 1:3–4

Antepartum: 1:4

Equipment: Centricity, GE monitors

EMR: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience

Certifications: ACLS, NRP

Intermediate fetal monitoring

OR circulation experience

Preferred Skills

Prior travel nursing experience

PACU experience

Common Procedures

Vaginal and C-section deliveries

D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation

Cerclage placement, external cephalic versions

High-risk OB management
