Sample Tasks

Analyze the current TFS environment.

Determine what needs to be done with TFS Boards.

Meet with respective customers that will be using the system in GitHub to determine requirements.

Help organize and build out GitHub in respect to management and data organization.

Move the data and users off TFS and into GitHub.

Document the design, layout, and management of GitHub.

Plan, test, move, and verify the process to move data from TFS to GitHub.

Develop procedures for working with GitHub from a user and management perspective.

Hold virtual meetings in Teams with MNIT @ DOT stakeholders, customers, and technical staff as needed.

Train support staff and key customers on using GitHub, either onsite or virtually.

Provide knowledge transfer.

Minimum Qualifications

Four (4) years' experience in MS TFS administration.

Five (5) years' experience in GitHub administration.

Two (2) years' experience in Azure roles administration.

Desired Skills

Two or more years' experience in Management and configuration of GitHub in Azure.

Two or more years' experience in GitHub automation tools.

Three or more projects demonstrating moving TFS to GitHub.

Three or more projects involving changing the GitHub configuration/operation to adapt to new business requirements.
