Controls Engineer

We are currently recruiting a full time Controls Engineer for a facility within the Andover, Mass area. This is an on-site position within a competitive salary and robust recruitment package.

This person will support controls engineering project requirements involving PLC programming, DCS programming, HMI/SCADA programming, database management, control panel design, instrumentation specification, engineering documentation support, check-out support and commissioning assistance.

Must Have:

A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science is required.

5+ years with capabilities in:

PLC hardware/software (Rockwell Automation).

HMI/SCADA platforms (Rockwell Automation, Inductive Automation Ignition).

DCS platform, specifically recent Emerson DeltaV experience/knowledge

Instrumentation experience is a must

Experience with standard programming languages: VBA, .NET, SQL (for HMI/SCADA).

Conceptualize, detail, and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery.

Develop control system architecture and select components.

Create schematic diagrams and system documentation.

Program controllers (PLC, DCS, RTU).

Ability to travel up to 25%.
