Job Description

Drive the development and optimization of machining strategies for tight-tolerance, multi-operation components

Serve as SME for tooling, fixturing, machining methods, and process control

Lead DFM/DFX reviews with design engineering and customers for new product introduction

Troubleshoot complex machining and production issues, providing hands-on support as needed

Implement best practices for cycle time reduction, cost savings, and first-pass yield improvements

Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers and programmers

Evaluate and integrate new technologies, equipment, and tooling innovations

Ensure all processes align with industry regulations (AS9100, ITAR, etc.) and internal quality systems

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering; advanced degree a plus

7+ years of CNC manufacturing or process engineering experience in a precision machining environment

Expertise in high-complexity part geometries, multi-axis machining, and high-mix/low-volume production

Strong command of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and aerospace compliance standards

Proficiency with CAM platforms such as Mastercam, NX, or similar

Proven success in technical leadership, process optimization, and mentoring
