Mathematics Teacher – Immediate Start or September 2025

Location: Near Eastbourne, East Sussex

Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

Contract Type: Long-Term (with potential for a permanent position)

Salary: £160 - £245 per day (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: 08:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The Opportunity:

A secondary school located close to Seaford, East Sussex, is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join their team either immediately or from September 2025. This is a long-term position with the clear potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Your Role:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will:

Deliver high-quality lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Plan and assess in line with the curriculum to support student progress

Track pupil performance and provide constructive feedback

Work collaboratively within the maths department and wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold UK QTS or equivalent overseas teaching qualification

Have experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4

Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations

Be passionate about raising student attainment in Maths

Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
