People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Shifts: Rotating shifts, including weekend working.

AM Shift - 01:00am - 04:00am start.

PM Shift - 14:00pm - 18:00pm start.

Pay Rate: Paying £16.63 an hour (minimum of 12 hours paid per shift) - Once permanent salary £41,516

Day to day duties

Your day to day duties as a Class 2 Driver will be, but not limited to:

Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently

Complete 6-7 deliveries to various stores across the UK daily

Ensure all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures throughout the journey

Safely unload cages using a tail lift and and deliver them into stores.

Take photos to document successful deliveries

Essential skills

Essential skills as a Class 2 Driver:

Must hold a valid UK Category C Driving licence

Must hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph

No more than 6 points for minor offences (no DR10,DG10,IN10 or TT99)

No major endorsements

Strong customer service skills

Desirable experience

Familiarity with cage and temperature controlled deliveries

Training

First day assessment followed by two weeks of training alongside a permanent staff member
